A fantastic step through Dawes Debutante in a sweet blue and white fade. A steel lugged step through frame.

The bike has been completely stripped and rebuilt from the frame up. Including bottom bracket and front hub rebuild.

Description
Frame size Large. Perfect for anyone 5'-6'.

All parts have been removed, cleaned, polished and reinstalled, with new chain, cables, brakes and bar tape.

Dropped handle bars with classic dual action brakes, for confidence how ever you like to ride.
A wide 5 speed gears give just about everything you need between here and the pub.
Strap on a basket and the mudguards will see you safe and dry into the office.
Wide comfortable tyres and the comfiest saddle i've ever ridden, for safe rolling on the rough and the smooth.
This can be upgraded to a 7 speed by changing the freewheel.

The frame does show heavy paint damage and minor levels of surface corrosion. I've checked the frame and it is safe and structurally sound. I have also cleaned and polished the paint, and treated any chips and rust.

New white and cork bar tape.

Story
This arrived at JBS as a project needing some rust attention. The frame had a clear surface level layer of abuse. Needing some love attention and a deep freshen up. I removed all of the components, cleaned through all the parts, removing years of built up muck to find a delicate shining flower beneath. After a good clean and a fresh set of consumables, this Dawes is the perfect summer evening cruiser or around town bike.

I love the steel lugged frames, vintage Dawes are always nice to look at and ride, brought back to life, for some more adventures.
